Two to Three cup Handmade Pottery Faceted Teapot with Autumn Leaf Design

£149.00

This handmade stoneware ceramic teapot holding 2 - 3 mugs of tea will add a touch of charm to your teatime routine, be a wonderful surprise for a tea enthusiast, or as a housewarming or birthday, Christmas present. The dark coloured stoneware clay is decorated with a white slip and carefully hand painted leaf designs added. The design is inspired by my walks through the Kent countryside and seeing the Autumn hedgerows there.

The teapot is hand thrown and facetted on my potter’s wheel and then constructed in my garden studio in Kent, UK. The components have been thoughtfully shaped to ensure a comfortable grip and effortless pouring. The clay is fired with a transparent, food safe glaze. My maker’s mark is stamped into the base of the teapot.

• Approximate dimensions: Length 19 cm, height 15 cm, internal diameter of top 5.5 cm

• Capacity 750 ml/ 26 fl. oz

• Dishwasher safe

• Food safe

• Free UK delivery

• All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill

• Please see www.marywrightceramics.co.uk for more related items.
