This handcrafted small white ceramic bowl brings the feeling of taking a pause in nature into your home. The bowls are first thrown by hand on the wheel and then altered while the dark coloured clay is still wet. This bowl has a split rim which comes together in places, where the sides are marked with dried flower stems. In the moment, marks are made which then become permanent when it is fired. My maker’s mark is stamped into the base. The bowl is glazed inside and out with a transparent glaze and fired to stoneware temperature.
