Medium Pale Red Handmade Pottery Moon Jar or Vase with White Decoration
A stunning medium handmade pottery moon jar which is coloured pale red and encircled with a white slip decoration. With its elegant and curved outline this exciting heirloom piece captures the essence of graceful movement and the fluidity of the clay when being created on my potters wheel. I hand threw this vase from a single piece of stoneware clay. It is then decorated by brushing the clay with a coloured slip and adding the white relief pattern on top. The vase is glazed (except for the white central decoration) with a transparent glaze inside and out and is able to hold water without an issue.

• All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
