Large Handmade White Serving Plate with Midsummer Flower Design
This large stoneware platter would be a wonderful addition to your tableware collection. The handmade plate has a white slip background and the generous rim is circled with a flower design in the colours of the rainbow. The pattern is inspired by my own garden on a summers evening and evokes a sense of joy and the timeless beauty of nature.
The plate is hand thrown on my potters’ wheel in my garden studio in Kent, UK. The current plate is made with a speckled off white clay and the speckle is seen throughout the plate. It is then turned to create the foot rings on the base of the platter and then decorated by hand.
With its larger size, it is both versatile for presenting food but can also be used as a centrepiece or decorative accent to a room.

• I make each plate myself so please expect some variation in size, shape and decoration between each item – each one is unique. I am always happy to send you photos or exact dimensions of current stock.

• All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
