This large handmade stoneware pottery bowl would be a wonderful addition to your tableware collection. The wheel thrown bowl has a white slip background and is circled with a flower design in the colours of the rainbow. The pattern is inspired by my own garden on a summers evening and evokes a sense of joy and the timeless beauty of nature.
The bowl is decorated by hand using a ‘slip and sgraffito’ technique on an off white speckled clay. The base of the bowl below the white colour is unglazed on the outside so that the rough surface of the clay can be felt towards the base.

• All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
