Large Handmade Japandi Inspired Ceramic Low Bowl with Blue Brush Decoration
This large stoneware serving bowl would be a wonderful addition to your tableware collection. The handmade bowl is made from a dark coloured clay, with a white slip background and large blue brush marks in order to accentuate the shape of the bowl. With its larger size, it is both versatile for presenting food but can also be used as a centrepiece or decorative accent to a room.
The bowl is hand thrown on my potters’ wheel in my garden studio in Kent, UK. It is then turned to create the foot ring on the base of the bowl and then decorated by hand. It has a food safe transparent glaze over the colours.
The first two photos show a very similar bowl to the one that will be sent -the exact bowl is the one shown in the final 6 pictures.
