This stoneware pottery platter would be a wonderful addition to your tableware collection. The handmade plate is made from a dark coloured clay, with a white slip background and a large deep green brush mark in order to complement the shape of the plate. With its larger size, it is both versatile for presenting food but can also be used as a centrepiece or decorative accent to a room.
The plate is hand thrown on my potters’ wheel in my garden studio in Kent, UK. It is then turned to create the foot rings on the base of the platter and then decorated by hand.

• All items are packaged in a special cardboard. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
